Please search the forum. Signal issues. Signal issues.... You aren't alone and this is far from new.
X1 boxes have entirely different signal requirements then older legacy boxes do. Just because the older boxes worked is no guaranty X1 boxes will.
Unless you are willing to do a bunch of reading in this forum and you are very fluent with troubleshooting audio/video gear, you are going to need to get a Comcast tech out to your house.
