Moca connection looks a ton better than it did before..
Not sure how to get to those settings...
With the remote
Xfinity button to Tools menu (gear) to Device Settings and scroll down to Video Display and press Ok
The problem is, I can't get a signal from the box to the TV over HDMI, so I can't see the settings screen to change them... (And I certainly hadn't changed them before all this started - didn't even know where to find them!)
I had to set the TV to "component" source (through the adapter) to change the setting, then I'd move the HDMI cable from the adapter to the TV and change source back to HDMI to see if it worked. None of the three choices for display settings got me a picture through HDMI. But other TVs can get an HD picture from this box, and my laptop can send it's screen to this TV via HDMI. Weirdness...
I'll just use the adapter for now. This TV is nearing the end of its useful life anyway.
Thanks for all your help.
You can also try with the remote
Exit exit exit and 1080 or 720 or 480(last resort)
