Is this happening through MoCA through my internet gateway?
Two freshly opened XiD-C remote units, straight from packaging, wired to 2 different outlets behind drop amp. X1 also wired behind drop amp. Both XiD-C's had obvious communication with Comcast. Both fairly instantly came up and confirmed my phone number and had the first 6 digits of my number on screen. One asked me to change its name, and I chose a custom name which is now showing up in my account online. Time is set on both and guide is fully populared. One even went into a screensaver of some sort with news and weather information at one point and can access
just some tech info.. the MoCA signal depends upon 'leaking' the signal across taps on the amplifier. Teh PoE filter should be at your demarc(ation) entry point to your home to reflect the MoCA signal back into your home plant. The new ones that comcast uses now have an integrated grounding built in.
