We have been Comcast customers for 30 years. Yesterday a very nice technician switched out our old set top DVR for the X-1 Platform. The technician spent a long time installing it and making sure the signal strength was adequate, etc. He left around 6 p.m. and within the first 10 minutes of turning on the local news, the picture and the sound began to break up. I unplugged the box and rebooted it several times and each time it would work for a few minutes and then break up again. This morning I left it unplugged longer. It worked for awhile, but then the problem recurred.
This is ridiculous and extremely frustrating.
