It's been a month since we first had an installer come and put in X1. After five visits from various technicians, the picture still doesn't look HD quality and the DVR recordings look horrible (closer to SD quality).
When the last tech came out, he said the downstairs DVR (we have 3 in the house) had a signal strength of 0.8 (pretty decent I thnk?). Downstairs is where the cable line first comes in and there's a splitter to bring the cable upstairs to the other two bedrooms. But the upstairs two DVR's have a signal strength of -11 on both. All the boxes still freeze on a daily basis. For the experts on this forum, what would cause such a big discrepancy in the DVR's? Does having 3 DVR's in the house cause some of the issues....Comcast had told me it shouldn't be an issue?
Comcast is going to be pulling a new line for us next week......hoping that will help fix some of the problems. But it's been a frustrating few weeks seeing the poor quality of the TV (and we have 3 4K TV's) and to top it off, we won't be able to see the Super Bowl with a good picture.
