might be easiest to take a picture of the error screen and take it and power supply for it to the Comcast office to swap out.

This JUST started happening to me tonight. Never happened before and I’ve had my X1 box for quite awhile. Screensaver just pops on while I’m watching a program.

Tech is on the way but what do you mean my DVR is out of spec? I don't know what that means.

Dvr's have an upstream and downstream signal range for it to work best. Anything too far out of range will have issues. Yours is out of range on both.

on your Xfinity remote press the Xfinity button > gear(settings) > Device Settings > Screen Saver. what is the 'screen saver starts after' setting?

This is what I am talking about...using the voice search, not browsing the guide. Used to show HD and SD recordings, now only shows SD. I don't want to have to toggle to auto-switch to HD.

Same problem as other posters here. YouTube connection worked yesterday, quit last night and has been out all day. Just red YouTube screen and nothing more. YouTube works from desktop computer and from direct smart TV connection but no longer through X1. Was great while it lasted.

Tried online support and they scheduled a tech, but based on what I am seeing here that sounds like a waste of time for me and tech.

It seemed like an official rollout was it really just a Beta?

Starting last weekend, my premium channels all went to a black screen, but audio is still there. All the other channels have video and audio. I'm running on an HTPC with a Ceton InfiniTV 4 channel tuner card. This has been in use for the past two years. What has been done to screw up these channels. Panama CIty FL 32404

I have the same problem it stinks the updates can't be turned off they screw it up a lot

I know it does not have code search. I am saying they need to add this.

This "work arround" still attemps to load the YouTube app, and fails, leaving me with just the read screen of death.

I can search for YouTube content and see search results as well, but none of them load. The SUPER WEIRD part, the YouTube app works just fine on my Xi3 box in the bedroom.
