Hello all, I can assist you with getting this issue cleared up. To clarify, when you listen to the same channel on another device do you get the same issue?
Re: Pandora app drops songs in middle of playing
Stream App - no more recording??
I have updated the App, and still not an option to set recording.
Is there another way to remotely set a recording when I'm away fro home?
Re: Blue screen
Hi Robert! I have not setup any power saving options to date. The model of the box is XG1v4-A. The model is AX014ANC. It keeps getting better now. This evening, we turned off the TV for a few hours, turned it back on to crystal clear sound, and a black screen. Faught with it for another 30 minutes before I pulled the plug on the XG1v4-A, and it finally came back to picture. Also, Netflix works perfectly fine. Fortunatly, I have not paid my first bill yet. Had a service tech out this morning, again, to replace the small box for another TV. That one was overheating. I told him about the blue screen and he informed me that "that's weird. A real hit or miss problem."
Seems like lots of people post about these issues, but nobody has a solution.
Re: XG1v4 4k DVR no signal to TV blue screen
Did this solution work? Having the same XG1v4 issues with a Samsung TV. Isn't an issue with the TV...DISH worked fine until three days ago when I switched to Comcast. Looking for a real solution.

Re: Constant RDK-03033 Error On 3 Different X1 Boxes
Deleted recordings reappearing
Deleted recordings reappear after they have been deleted. Frequently a previously deleted recording will reappear afger another recording is deleted. Everything is good after the daily 3am update/reset but this is still an annoying problem that should be corrected.
Re: Blue screen
Nope...Power Saver is not on, and never has been. Went over that with the first tech that installed the system. BTW, the TV. Is a Samsung UN65KU6290F.
Re: Remote

They will only work with the gateway provided or you will have to run cat 5 to eachHere's a question:
- I have an Xfinity gateway in the basement. It is a newer home with built-in cat5 wiring and wall ethernet ports, so the gateway needs to remain where it is, so it can plug into the house's hub/switch(?) and feed the ethernet ports throughout the house.
- I have a new wireless Xi5 upstairs in the kitchen, but the signal it's getting from the gateway is really weak (so it says) and my programming is regularly pixelating or freezing.
- Wireless is my only option to connect the Xi5.
- I am currently using an AirPort Extreme connected to one of the ethernet ports (and thus the gateway) to run a different wireless network, different SSID and everything. I can't quite recall what mode or method I used to pull that off but it's working.
- However, I'm thinking I would like to just setup one roaming network, with the same SSID, etc., and use the (wired) AirPort Extreme to act as an access point(?) to both improve the wireless coverage upstairs AND the signal to the kitchen Xi5.
- Keep in mind that I need all of the ports on the gateway to remain active, because it is feeding other cat5 lines in the house besides the one going to the AirPort (e.g. PS4 and computers directly connected to the gateway via wall ethernet ports).
ComcastAndrew (or anyone else) is this possible?
i read where you said wireless is only option but the xi5 can connect by ethernet (even through a swtich but should be direct to gateway).
Issue regarding the XG1v4-A set-top box.
Why does to the All Power button on the remote put the TV box to sleep?
Yes, I read that I can walk up to the box and power it off, and I know the box runs updates and reboots daily at 2am whether the box is on or off or in power-saving mode, which are all the more reasons to just let the All Power button shut off the box OR put it into sleep/power-saving mode.
Maybe I'm wrong on the logic and behavior, but I've never had a device hooked to the TV that uses a remote that I couldn't power off with the remote or put I to sleep/power-saving mode... this restriction seems unnecessary.
DirectTV upgrade driving me crazy....what if I went back to Xfinity?
The recent DirectTV "upgrade" is HORRIBLE, and it is now easy to accidentally erase a show and it's hard to find a show with their big popups. If I were to go back to Xfinity (whom I left when they couldn't fix a second bedroom TV, but I kept them for internet and voice -- but they did have to come out multiple times, but I think they have the internet and that would have fixed the second bedroom fixed) In short, If I leave Direct TV, do they have to remove the dish? Will Comcast have to come out to rewire the cable? That is, is there an easy path back or is it painful? I only went to Direct Tv because Comcast couldn't figure out how to get the 2nd TV to work and wanted to charge to come out, and DirectTv said they'd install everything free and make sure it works...and give me a couple hundred dollars. But now it's painful to use the DVR. PAINFUL. So how easy will Xfinity make it for me to come back?
Re: Blue screen
Update...I woke up to a crisp blue screen again today! What’s the next step? Remember, never had this issue with DISH tv.
SAP (Spanish)
How do I turn off SAP (Spanish) on my TV remote XR2?
Re: Intermittent Sound Cut Out Skipping Audio Issue
I own a house, not live in an apartment or condo.
I have 3 different boxes and it happens on all of them. None of them are the X! high end boxes - 2 are just for digital starter and 1 is just so I can get basic cable on a TV.
Can I seriously be the only person this is happening to?? It is getting worse, not better.
Tv in master bedroom takes 5 minutes to turn on. It will say “connecting to x1 platform for awhile
Pixel scrambling
I have had Xfinity X1 for a year now and from time to time different channels will be messed up, like Bravo, TBS, HBO, last night it was ABC sometimes messed up to the point I can't watch it. I will describe the problem......it is like when I had Salelite TV and a storm was coming in, the channel will scramble, a guy at work told me that the pixels were scrambling. I have unplug each box from the wall and each TV from the wall and the channels still do it. Anyone know what I need to do to fix that........could it be my Box? I know it is not the TV because if the channel is messing up I will check that channel on other TV's in the house and it is the same. Getting very frustrated with this, ruins show I want to watch!!!
Thank you for any help!

I can only offer a guess: It sounds like you have signal issues from your TV to someplace back to the "plant". It sounds like you need a tech visit.
Re: Tv in master bedroom takes 5 minutes to turn on. It will say “connecting to x1 platform for awh
Sounds like a connection issue; unscrew and screw back together all your coax connections.
