the "OK" (enter) button is tied to the set top box not to the TV so the TV does not receive a signal from the button.

I have tried all suggestions to no avail. I called comcast . 2 techs later and 1 1/2 hours on the phone, I now have a ie or I/E up in the corner of all broadcast tv programs. I have a tech coming out tomorrow. I will be charged $25.00.
I have escalated your issue to the Comcast Team available to these forums. Check back often for a reply in this thread from a Comcast Official Employee.
The cable box still turns on at 5:00 and stays on until we shut it off. The daily update is supposed to be between 2:00 a.m And 4:00 am
I would like to request an XG1v4 TV Box. Please advise if Xfinity can send me one. Thank you and have a great day.
the amount of HDMI inputs is not an issue on the TV, Receiver or DVD player. The issue is with the XG1 Set top box which has only a single HDMI ouput and no optical audio output. This is crazy by today's standards.

If you must use a surge protector, a gas discharge type with signal quality specs like
https://www.amazon.com/TII-Broadband-Satellite-Lightning-Protector/dp/B0016AIYU6
http://www.tiitech.com/repository/datasheetlibrary/210_212.pdf
would be preferred over the one you posted.
The few specs I can find on the Eaton don't indicate what effects it has on signal quality.
I got the new remote on Thursday and I been having trouble using the arrow keys cause there so small and I really have to press hard so it seems I'm giving my thumb a work out so this morning I been having involuntary shaking of my thumb when I'm not using it I blame the XR15 remote cause I been giving a lot of strength on my right thumb to press buttons on the Xr15 remote the butons are small and hard to push and I have small fingers so it's no easy task.
Should I switch my remote back to the XR11 that gave me no problems and i didn't have to put my thumb into a thumb work out just to get the entertaimment I need.
Det0814, please send me a private message with your full name, address, and phone number so I can check out your signals and send a tech if necessary.

How did you resolve the issue? I'm having the same problem
Is it possible while logged into the DVR Manager on my PC to be able to schedule shows on our X1 DVR? If it is there, I don't see it.
Additionally, I would like to be able to record a channel from the DVR Manager, ie. Channel 702 from 6pm to 10pm. The latter can be done with the X1 Guide.
Side question to my own topic: When entering in the hour and minute of the start time for programming a specific channel, I seem to be able to only use the up or down arrow keys on the remote to change the minute field. It is painstakingly slow to change this field. Is there a button press that will quickly set the minutes to :00 or increment to the nearest :15 or :30?
Thanks!
