And there is a really good chance your WOW DVR will not be compatible with Comcast equipment for proprietary reasons. Let us know if it actually works.

I've always had two dvrs so I could watch independently of the main dvr, pause and play live tv, etc. The reps told me they have upgraded the satlelite boxes so they can do everything the DVR does. So what is the point of having it as a satellite?

I have a Samsung soundbar attached to an LG 4K HD TV.  Finally found what I believe is the sync adjustment you mentioned.  It works for now.  Still having problens with my Samsung HDTV using an internal speaker on a cloud X1 cable box.  Will continue to investigate that one.  Thanks...for now.

X1 DVRs aren’t independent. It’s true, the satellite boxes can do what the DVR but they don’t have a hard drive and need to communicate with the DVR and they’re cheaper

Oh I'm paying alright.  I've got bundled services for Internet, TV, Phone and Home Security.  I just wanted to add an additional wireless box.  Sadly they want $60 to come out and "install" it.  Seems like this should be able to be completed over the phone.

Any idea if this will change in the future?  I'd love to add another wireless box, but really don't want to pay $60 for something that should be able to completed in a relatively easy manner. For example, I could pick up the box, and have support help me install it over the phone.

In the past if you were watching a program and 30 minutes into that program you decided you wanted to record that program and you had not changed the channel the recording would start at the beginning even though you are 30 minutes into the program....it no longer does that it will start recording from the point you initiated the record function...is there a way to correct this...

only a few photo albums appear in the app.  most do not..  if there is a limit on content, is there a way to designate which photo albums to pull into the xfinity facebook app?

Legacy Box Black Screen upon changing channels

Hi,
I have a legacy box RNG150N with HDMI cable.
When changing about half my channels, say from channel 46 to 47, I get the info on the bottom for about 1 sec, and then I get a total black screen for another 3 secs.
This causes an annoying 4 second timeout when channel surfing.

I talked to the comcast customer service...no help resetting the box.
I talked to a serviceman about turning-box-off, then GrayRemote-HD-Zoom to change the resolution, but I cannot get this to work.
Another serviceman said call comcast and have them change the resolution.

I am using the RNG150N with the HDMI cable.
Can you help me?

TV Video Bridge

TV video bridge

I have a Florida condo, and coax is only in the back of the home, not the front, and it is too hard to rewire the house.
I have a RNG150 and 2 adapters.
Does comcast have any wifi/RF solutions for this?
My current thought is to keep all the comcast devices in the back of the house, and try and find a short range 25ft video bridge to send the signal, and perhaps a remote extender to send the remote signal back to the box.
Can u help me?

I know this was posted last year but about a month ago when i got a DVR in my room as well as the main tv this started happening to me as well. Any resolution as of yet???

There’s not a way to completely removing it? I don’t want it to show in the available apps

Is it ALL SD channels, or just some?  You haven't made any changes to your TV's settings, or maybe someone else?

After Phone Tech tried an hour long Reset, We had a Tech come round. Came on a Saturday evening.Excellent . The Tech was Brilliant. She cut all the Splitters that had been there for a few years, replaced the conections with a Power Boost. Pic Attached. Replaced all the connections to the Boxes. She pointed out the cable I had to my gateway was very old(it was) and offered to replace it. I told her I could do that as I had thread it throug a couple of areas that would be a project. She advised me what to get . Next discovered my gateway was not responding correctly and she changed that out. Set up my new Wi Fi network and Split the Bandwidths. 2.4 and 5. I didnt know that could be done. wasnt told that when I got the Self Install Kit. Everything is working great. In fact my wife and Kids swear the picture on our Tv is clearer than before.

I would love to get a hold of some of those connectors.IMG_1641.JPGIMG_1642.JPG
