Not all "professional installers" understand X1 and X1 has very specific signal requirements. If you are relying on a 3rd party installer it is very possible you have the wrong RF amp installed for X1...

Comcast does not want the "reset" to be widely known because it causes more problems than it solves.You could always stop at a Comcast service center and swap out the box... It might be easier.Dweber54...
