Auto-Extend=Auto-Truncate?

Recorded a hockey game tonight and not only did it not auto-extend when it went into OT, it cut off before the end of the normally scheduled game time! It literally operated in reverse!

Thanks.  It's not that big a deal.  I wanted it more for categorizing movies, like "Show me Horror Movies," but oh well.  Thanks for the replies.

Yes. X1 boxes are designed to remain turned on. They don't turn off from the remote. The difference in power usage between turned on and standby is pennies per year.You can go into the menu of your X1...
