I have this problem. Trailers work, but videos won't
Re: Amazon prime app on x1 says internet connection error
Re: X! and DVD player help
Cannot post a picture. When I click on MENU on the Sony remote I see the following list on the left side of the screen:
External Inputs
Analog Favorites
Digital Favorites
Analog
Digital
Settings
Will do what you suggest?
Thank you
I would THINK I should choose External Inputs, but since I am NOT sure, I do not want to mess up this TV where I cannot watch even cable tv.
The only other one that makes any sense to me is 'Settings", but for the same reason, leary about going into that.
Re: X! and DVD player help
No imput or source button the remote
Re: DVR recordings being deleted
I called Xfinity 4/27th and spent half hour on the phone with Tier 1 and they could not help. They transferred me to Tiie 2. They said it was a system issue with more than 1000 customers reporting the same issue. They said they couldn’t do anything and I would be contacted when the system issue was resolved. The tech said the the case number for the system issue is SI033193668.
As I expected, I have not heard anything from the company. I had a lot of shows recorded that are only available on demand for a charge and I expect my account to be credited This was problem on their end.

Re: X1 audio dropouts on 4K XG1v4-A cable box
Recently I have noticed that ALL 3 X1 of my boxes I have are doing this... not just my XG1V4. But they demonstrate the issue slightly differently.
HOWEVER, the audio dropout is often accompanied be a slight pixelation or blip in the picture.
I have a history of blaming local signal issues (in home) for problems like this. I am almost always right. Many people are quick to blame Comcast software. In the case of this issue I do think it is a network issue outside of the house. I think the problem is too intermittent and unpredictable to be within my house.
If it continues I will invite a Comcast tech out to our house.

Hello
Re: Pixelation on high def channels
Does Comcast supply Commscope Amplifiers or do customers need to purchase them on their own?

Re: Amazon Prime Video on Xfinity X1
OK, I have an Xfinity X1 box, I have a prime account on Amazon, I enter the code in my Amazon account and it says I have successfully added the device... except I haven't. The Xfinity box never shows up on my device list in Amazon and the code screen that says it will automatically update doesn't. So where do I go from here?
PST and RDK03004 messages
I have both PST and RDK03004 messages on my X1. My internet is also not working. Apparently I have a refreshed signal and supposed to be good. All my connections are tight and haven't been messed with. I went to the xifinty store today and exhanged my old boxes for new. Before i left eveything was fine. Came home and have this error and lost internet. Took new boxes back up to the store and got replacements and a new modem. Called and was given an appt not until sat. I just don't understand how taking off my original boxes and everything was fine to putting on new ones and the signal goes bad??

Not sure who made this decision but they possibly could have consulted customers first not waited for the complaints to roll in...

Re: Programming the X15 remote to control TV and Audio receiver.
Thank you for your response, Rustyben. Using the onscreen guide, I programed the TV to work with the remote and I confirmed that the remote turns the TV off and on. It also controlled the TV volume as you said. Then, when prompted by the guide, I tried the Audio/Video Receiver codes until I found the one that allowed the remote to adjust the volume and turn the receiver off and on by pushing the Power button. But the TV power is unaffected. It's as though the remote forgot about controlling the TV and will only work with the A/V Receiver. If I go back and program the TV again, then the remote will only control the TV. I've gone through the entire process a couple dozen times, trying every available code. The best I can achieve is A/V Receiver control and no control of TV power, because as soon as I enter an A/V Receiver code after first successfully programming the TV, TV control goes away.

I have escalated your issue to the Comcast Team available to these forums. Check back often for a reply in this thread from a Comcast Official Employee.
